Icy fountains in the Park

We had quite a cold and Icy winter this year.

This is the pond in our local park slowly turning to ice.

People are far too complicated to be able to describe in a few words so I am not even going to try.

  1. Here (Chicago area) all the fountains are turned off in the winter so they don’t freeze and crack the pipes. It’s always a sign of spring/summer when they’re turned back on.

  2. OMG it must be very cold. I can’t even imagine how freezing it would be , yesterday it rained here and I was frozen to death but snow!!! I’ve never even seen it in my life, so I can only imagine how cold it would be.
