Anxiety’s Cage – A short Poem

When I can conquer my fears,

and my anxiety disappears

only then I can begin living.

Until then I’m in a cage

and year after year, I age,

But I hope, before I die,

I can say a final goodbye

to all this worry and strife,

and finally I will have a life.

People are far too complicated to be able to describe in a few words so I am not even going to try.
