I wanted to share some quotes with you all.
The first one is attributed to the great William Shakespeare.
“A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.”
On a similar vein: This one is unattributed.Β
“If you correct a wise man, he will thank you for it but if you correct a fool he will never forgive you.”
Β Or
“A wise man can see more from the bottom of a well than a fool can from a mountain top.”
And
“A wise man will take advice from a fool but a fool doesn’t listen to a wise man.”
And Finally
“Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad”
All the best
πΒ
Tomatoes are my favorite fruit LOL and so are avocados…and I would put neither in a fruit salad!

I think the second one is from The Bible. And I love the Tomato one. It was really funny and thought provoking at the same time. π

Thank you. There are some lovely bible quotes, I particularly love the language in the King James Bible, that’s where we get the phrase ‘By the skin of my teeth’, which is wonderful. π
