What is a Human?
Are we flawed fallen angels,
or redeemed devils?

Very thought provoking. I (stupidly) got into a debate with my mother when she was here visiting over heaven/hell and religion. After three hours she was shocked that the Bible does not, in fact, discuss hell. We will never see eye to eye on anything, but it’s always fun being proven right…lol

Personally I think both don’t exist and we need to try better to make this world closer to our idea of heaven and less like our idea of hell. π

My mother is religious. I have my own philosophy of this and that, and my son is an atheist (much to her dismay and dislike). I don’t think there is a heaven or hell either. It is whatever we make it out to be. Unfortunately, there are too many hell bent on destroying everything in the name of their religion (in every nation) that it really does create hell on Earth for everyone else.

But, just to play devil’s advocate, there are plenty of people who are hell bent on creating hell on earth who aren’t at all religious as well. π Like you I neither follow an orthodox religion nor am I an atheist, I have my own ideas π

I look at the US with everything we are doing in the name of “our” religion. It’s infuriating. Granted, there are plenty of nutters out there though that cause grief too…lol

I didnβt know was a haiku was, until today. Very clever, may practice this style. A thought provoking Haiku! π€

Thank you. It is a simple poetry form consisting of three lines, the first must have 5 syllables, the second 7 then the final one 5. They rarely rhyme. π

I like the idea that weβve all got a bit of both inside of us – and some are going to fall further, whilst others can be further redeemed. I donβt know… certainly thought provoking! βΊοΈ
