The Word of the Day is Soliloquy
This is a complicated word, that conjures up visions of a Shakespeare play, but in essence we have all delivered a soliloquy at some point in our lives. We have all spoken our thoughts out loud to the wall, or the cat or the microwave. Never wanting a response but just clearing out our minds.
Anyone who has tried having a conversation with a teenager has probably felt like they were delivering a soliloquy too. Talking to thin air.
