Day 14 –  A song you’d love to be played at your wedding.

Well, this is purely hypothetical, but I do like something impressive, like a fanfare. I also like a powerful organ (Now please, that wasn’t a euphemism, get your mind out of the gutter).

Here is my choice: The Finale from Camille Saint-Saens Organ Symphony

People are far too complicated to be able to describe in a few words so I am not even going to try.

  1. I had Handel, Chopin twice, Beethoven and then came the Saint-Seans!
That was rather an epic playlist…
    …a wedding? …
….erm, there were parts of the Saint-Seans that made me think bride of Frankenstein!!
But then the Shostakovich brightened the mood!
The Bach was absolutely gorgeous and glorious.
    Love Sebelius’ Finlandia….
….I don’t have time right now for all the rest…but maybe I can have them playing in the office at work.
