This poem contains the following word prompts:
Word of the Day: Shambles
FOWC: Treasure
Sheryl’s Your Daily Word: Cascade
Ragtag Daily Prompt: Bridge
Cross the Bridge of Fears
Sometimes you feel a shambles,
You’re a forgotten soul, an elf.
Life has pulled you through the brambles,
Then left you on the shelf.
You stand there scared to move
and cross that bridge of fears
you’re futures bright beyond it
So, dry those anxious tears.
Hang in there and hold on tight.
For soon will come your day
A cascade of golden treasure,
Worth more than I can say.
Today, you feel a shambles,
like a sorry elf.
But cross the bridge and you’ll realise,
The greatest treasure is yourself.

That is such a clever use of so many prompts.
I am so impressed by the way you weaved them all in and then made things rhyme.

Thank you. I am the worst one for letting my fears stop me for doing things, so I need to take a leaf out of my own book. 😉
