Deb Whittam hosted these fantastic challenges every Thursday, only Thursday the 27th was her last one. She has decided to start something new.
See here:

I have always loved these challenges and I know I’m not the only one, so I asked Deb if she’d mind if I tried to keep them going. I also asked Teresa, The Haunted Wordsmith, if she’d like to take turns hosting them, share the burden and spread the love. π
So, this is my announcement that we are going to try to keep 50 word Thursday’s going.
This will be our first one.
So hereβs the rules
1 Completed piece must be in multiples of 50 words β maximum of 250 words. Anything is acceptable β poetry, story, anecdote.
2 There will be a photo and a random phrase that I will take from the current book I am reading β you can use either or both
3 Please pingback and tag 50 word Thursday, so I can do a summary on the Thursday morning. You can either put your piece in the comments on this post or do a post of your own.

Phrase taken from The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris.
Have fun, and pass the word on π

How are we going to work this? Do I post it this week? I can’t remember when it went out, but I think it was midnight Australian time right (Aus is 17 hours ahead of me lol)

Well, here are my thoughts. I thought I would do a wash up of submissions this evening and then you post a new one to go out tomorrow morning. The original had a fixed time slot but we can each cater to our own time frames, I’ll post Thursday AM GMT and do a wash-up on the following wednesday PM. What do you think?

Okay, that works. I’ll schedule my post to go out at Midnight GMT on Thursday morning (that’s only +6 ahead of me).

Or we could schedule it to go out Midnight EST which is 7am GMT if that works better?

Oh, So it is. π Ok, I will do a wash-up post and mention that you’ll be posting the next one. Then when your post goes out, I’ll reblog. Exciting stuff. π
