Mysterious Ways – A short poem

I don’t sit here and pontificate

I’m more perspicacious than that

I pull all the strings and then wait

to pull justice out of my hat.

Vengeance is mine, I’ve always said,

But I work in mysterious ways.

You may call it karma instead

But it makes sure that crime never pays.

People are far too complicated to be able to describe in a few words so I am not even going to try.
