This poem was written in response to this picture from Kira’s Sunday Scribbles.

As winter finally passes
In one last final flurry,
The season we’re all yearning for,
Comes running in a hurry,
To catch up for lost time,
Spreading greenery with a fling
And in the spirit of its rebirth
The trees start their blossoming.

Thank you Beckie. I wanted to write something Easter based, but I haven’t been my usual productive self this week. π

I’m thinking maybe there is something in the air lately… a lot of us are not equipped to be truly inspired or just plain burnt out. I don’t know what it is, but I still think you did a fantastic job on that piece!!

Thank you. Yes, I know what you mean, definitely feeling a bit lacklustre at the moment, but I’m keeping on keeping on. π
