I wanted to share with you two posts that I wrote exactly a year ago today, which you may not have seen if you’ve only just started following me. π
The first is a Haiku written in tribute to a very special lady who I unfortunately only discovered her genius after she’d died.

The second is a link to a short story written in instalments called The Wind Sheds No Tears. I wrote part 5 exactly a Year ago and haven’t written any more since then. I’ve included the links to all the parts just in case you want to read them all.

I intend to pick up on this story and write some more soon, so have a look and let me know if you like the story and would be interested in reading some more.
Happy Friday π
I must confess that it’s been sometime since I read something so good like this story. Definitely I would like to read more. I would want to know of young Pablo’s promise to his love Margarita. Will they meet? If they meet, what about the social divide between them?

Oh, that’s lovely. I’m glad you liked the story and want to hear more. I have been thinking of continuing the story for some time, but I think now is the time to do that. π

Hi Mel, I’m OK, I have been a bit lacklustre of late. Not posting or reading as much as I was. How are you?

Well…you can’t be illustrious and luminescent (and whatever else is the opposite to lacklustre) all the time π
Inspiration, motivation can be like waves…sometimes quiet as a millpond, other times it just keeps throwing itself at you.
I am super excited about my trip to Australia to see Goldfinch…so smiling from ear to ear all day long.

My partner is going home to Australia in July, I am staying here as I’ve gone off flying at the moment. π

Have you been before? The route I am taking is a 23 hour journey – some routes were even longer.
I have never been so far. I am going to find it tough. I don’t mind flying, but I become very bored with the sitting still and end up pacing and annoying other people.
Well…while she is away…you can sit and watch all of Wimbledon and eat strawberries and cream and drink Pimms π

Yes, I’ve done it several times. I used to fly Malaysian Airways and stop over in Kuala Lumpur. It is two long flights usually but they do fly straight there in one go, but I’ve never done that. Have a great time.

These stories are fascinating. Instead of sharing their link , you should repost them. That way more people will read them and can comment on them too.

I wasn’t sure whether reposting would somehow alter the post. I’m not very technical at all. I’m glad you think the story is worth reposting. How do it go about that?

You have to go to the post settings and change the status to draft. Then you can schedule the post for publishing. Easy peasy.

I shall give that a try at some point. Thank you. π
