Multiple Word Prompt Poem – Identically Different.

You may say we are identical

But don’t believe your eyes

One of us is honest

Whilst the other one tells lies

It is hard to tell the difference

But when you’ve known us for a while,

One will drive you to despair

The other will make you smile.

One is full of bounding energy

One is lacklustre and sedate

You probably won’t know which of us you’re with,

Until it’s far too late.

From one, you’ll want to run away

And require some respite,

The other one will make your day

And that is all despite

the fact we look the same

but it’s a very good disguise,

but can you believe a word I say?

I could be telling lies.

People are far too complicated to be able to describe in a few words so I am not even going to try.

  1. What a tease! Sorry about the pingback problem. As you see, you are not alone, but nor is it a general problem. We prompters have had a little on-line discussion about it recently, but not, I’m afraid come up with an answer yet. Thanks for persisting with posting.
