Dreams of Dali

As I slowly drift to sleep

I trip and fall into foolish dreams.

Where before I counted sheep,

Now I’m caught in torpid schemes.

Dicing with devils in denim hats

Breaking bread with brazen cats

Dancing Dangerously with diplomats.

Oh! What crazy capers my mind unleashes

When lost in a world of lucid dreaming,

Melted clocks and Dali-esque pastiches

Then Suddenly I awaken screaming.

Though darkness fills my dreaming mind,

There’s nothing darker than humankind.

People are far too complicated to be able to describe in a few words so I am not even going to try.

    1. I am a big fan of Dali too! I do however think that his paintings reflect his thoughts and life. He was most bizarre! We have a beautiful Dali Museum a short ay from here in St.Petersburg. I have been there on several occasions. 🙂
