This is my tribute to health workers – They Are the Champions.

OK, so I know I’m not the greatest singer in the world, I don’t aspire to be, and I didn’t practice or warm-up, so it’s not a great rendition, but I certainly gave it my all!

It’s my tribute to all the health workers who are the Champions and make us all feel better.Β

This is probably a sign that I’m cracking under the strain of staying indoors, who knows what crazy antics I’ll be getting up to tonight?!?

People are far too complicated to be able to describe in a few words so I am not even going to try.

    1. Hahaha, Thanks πŸ˜‰ That’s really great positive feedback and I love it! OK, I will. I find singing really helps to shift any negative emotions, but I’ve never recorded or shared a video of me doing it before. Maybe I’ll start doing some more. πŸ™‚

    2. I think you should…I agree that singing out loud is really good for the mood, and you seem to have so much fun doing it that I think you’ll encourage people to do it too πŸ™‚

    3. And if I may… I’d like to invite you to dance too πŸ˜‰ I have started a daily cyber-meeting and each day, we dance to an upbeat song to shake off the covid-blues…

    1. You’re too kind, I love golden oldies!!! How about either something from Billy Joel or Billy Idol? I’ll leave the song selection to you. πŸ˜‰ Oh, it doesn’t matter what I suggest, just sing from your heart & soul again like you did with Queen. That was brilliant!!!

    2. You are mucho welcome!!! 😎 I just got back from running to the supermarket and on the radio they were playing The Police’s “Don’t Stand So Close To Me” I have to admit, I thought of you singing that song. LOL! 😁 Just another suggestion.

  2. King Ben heard you singing and joined me in watching the video. He said “Well done” and I have to agree with him. You have a wonderful voice and it was a pleasure to hear it.
I’ll share this with my older daughter when she wakes up. She’s a nurse and works the overnight shift.

    1. Freddie was indeed the best, I’ll never tire of watching the live aid gig. I was 13 I think, and was playing at my mates house for the day. The weather was beautiful and I remember his sister kept calling us in when someone good came on. We pretty much watched it all!!

    1. Thank you. I’d be better with practice and it is a very hard song to sing, but I agree, I did it more for fun than anything. Glad you like it πŸ™‚ I’m keeping OK. Staying indoors and so far I’ve been fine. How about you?

    2. You actually did alright.
It doesn’t sound hard to sing. How is it hard?
Same – stuck indoors and doing alright. Though I can’t wait to be able to get out again!

    3. Freddie Mercury’s voice is very high for a bloke, and also extremely powerful, its not easy to sing high and project for a man, our voices tend to be stronger in the mid to low register. His songs are probably easier for a woman to sing.

  3. Wonderfully sung my friend – well done for holding notes of such high tones – can tell you’re not a smoker – and l think that maybe you should go and see a coach – you might be surprised at their review πŸ™‚

    Nicely done.

    1. I did indeed Kristian, very much so – but after leaving that comment l also remembered of course that you are not naive to the likes of the stage and l am pretty sure you have paid mention to singing before – so now l feel sure that someone aside from me also may have mentioned your ability to hold the long notes well – superg lung capacity πŸ™‚
