So the Word of the Day is Sand and I couldn’t help but think of this golden oldie song – Love letters in the Sand.
On a day like today
We passed the time away
Writing love letters in the sand
We passed the time away
Writing love letters in the sand
How you laughed when I cried
Each time I saw the tide
Take our love letters from the sand
Each time I saw the tide
Take our love letters from the sand
You made a vow that you would ever be true
But somehow that vow meant nothing to you
But somehow that vow meant nothing to you
Now my broken heart aches
With every wave that breaks
Over love letters in the sand
With every wave that breaks
Over love letters in the sand
Now my broken heart aches
With every wave that breaks
Over love letters in the sand
With every wave that breaks
Over love letters in the sand
I would love to write some lyrics as lovely as this. The song was written by Nick Kenny, J. Fred Coots and Charles Kenny, and made famous by Pat Boone.
Call, me a total Maniac but I decided to try to sing it myself:
When will you be releasing your first album?π Thanks for making me smileπ
“Love letters in the sand” is a lyric in this rockin’ hair band’s hit song

Takes me back a long way. And by the way, I’ve contacted WP re the “block issue”–they will reply as soon as they’re able (delays due to pandemic). I made it quite clear to them that I’ll no longer be blogging if forced to change…

I hope that they respond with something reassuring. It will be a great loss if you leave. I’ve invested too much into my blog to leave, but It would have an impact on my blogging.

I’m touched that you think my absence would be a loss π As a woman of devout faith, I’ve prayed for God to resolve the issue favorably. The Bible says HE gives “good and perfect gifts” β€ We should remain hopeful π

The blogosphere is nothing without it’s bloggers. I have faith that God in his wisdom will deliver what is the best for us, not always what we think is the best though. “God moves in a mysterious way, His wonders to perform;” I do love that hymn quote. We shall wait in eagerness. Enjoy your Sunday. π

“His thoughts and ways are not our thoughts and ways–they are higher than ours”. That’s why I have confidence in the “mysterious”–whatever He delivers, it will be Good! So very nice chatting with you this early a.m., Kristian–that’s the part of blogging I’d miss, the connections with fine people. We’ll be fine π

It’s not so early here in the UK. π Yes, indeed, it is making connections that we wouldn’t ordinarily find in our daily lives π
