The Word of the Day is Cupidity,
Which sounds so lovely and cutesy but actually when you find out what it means it totally the opposite!I hope you enjoy using this word in a story or a poem 🙂
Today’s Word of the Day is Cupidity. The definition of cupidity has nothing to do with Cupid nor hearts and flowers and little arrows of love being shot across the universe…no, Cupidity is defined as:
- greed for money or possessions.“new wealth, however tainted by cupidity and egoism, tends to be favorable for the arts”
Please use the word in a story, flash fiction, stream of consciousness piece or poem and share that with the rest of the crowd, by doing the following:
If you want to participate, create a ping-back to link your post.
Not sure how to do that? See how to create pingbacks here.
In case the ping-back doesn’t work properly, it might be a good idea to post your link in a comment just to be sure.
Most importantly of all? HAVE FUN!
Great wealth that is gained by cupidity
Gives no more than fiscal fluidity.
Not knowing the worth
Of life here on Earth
To my mind, is sheer, crass stupidity.
