The Word of the Day is Perambulate,
I hope you enjoy using this word in a story or a poem.
Just an extra note, we often call the thing you put babies in to wheel them around in, what in the US is called a Baby Buggy, we often call a Pram, and the word pram is a shortening of Perambulator which comes from the word Perambulate – A leisurely walk.
The word of the day today is PERAMBULATE.
- FORMAL•HUMOROUSwalk or travel through or around a place or area, especially for pleasure and in a leisurely way.“she perambulated the square”
- HISTORICAL•BRITISHwalk around (a parish, forest, etc.) in order to officially assert and record its boundaries.
