Greetings to you and many, many thanks. We all create our blogs for a purpose and my purpose is just to record the strange stories and poems that are in my head and share it with others, to seek Feedback, encouragement and constructive criticism, to grow and improve as a writer. I will always continue to post what I love, my stories and poems, and if you enjoy them too, then I am really pleased and grateful.

I am sorry if people are not enjoying what I am writing, I wish you all the best at finding what you most want to see. I do feel bad if people choose not to follow me any more, but I can’t change what I do. I must be true to myself.

Something that I did not expect about blogging is how supportive the community is. I have made some great pals doing this and it is an incredibly fulfilling experience for me. I try to interact with people as much as possible and I hope all my followers feel that I give back something that they need too.

In short I would like to say. Thank you. I am grateful. I wish you all the best. I hope you continue to like what I do.

Friday Funday Challenge – Game On – You Name It!

Yes, you know you are having a fun friday when you get nominated by That Guy Called Bloke to take part in one of his excellent challenges. Check out his post and his blog here:

Friday Funday Challenge – Game On – You Name It!

In his own words:

Friday Funday Challenge – Game On – You Name It!

Friday Funday Challenge Created by A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip!

We all like a bit of easy fun, if it’s not quotes, it’s prompts, or words of the day, well this is 20 questions!

Now, this is like in a way the old game of musical chairs with a twist. In that game it was a case of elimination of ‘players’, music and chairs, with one fewer chairs than players. When the music stopped, the person without a chair was eliminated from the game. Slowly over the duration of the game, more chairs were removed until there could be only one which was the winner.

With Game On – You Name It it’s slightly different ….

Each Friday l will ask 19 new questions, and nominate 3 bloggers of my own who will answer 16 of my questions, but insert 3 questions of their own and answer those as well, so that they are STILL answering 19 questions. They in turn will nominate 3 bloggers of their choice, who will answer 16 of the 19 questions asked by their nominator, insert 3 new questions and answer those and then choose 3 new bloggers. By the time the week is up, and the next time l design a new questionnaire, the old 19 questions should not resemble the previous weeks at all.

The Rules …

1] Thank the nominator – Thank you Mr. Bloke, I always enjoy these challenges.

2] Answer Q1 – Q19

3] Nominate three bloggers of your choice and notify them.

4] Each selected blogger MUST answer 16 of the asked 19 questions, but also insert 3 new questions to make up the 19 compliment. Every time a new blogger is selected they MUST only answer 16 of the asked 19 questions as well as answer their own 3, and choose 3 new bloggers. Each time a new blogger sees the questionnaire it will be completely different to the next blogger along.

[Hint: delete three of the questions you don’t like or have no answer for and insert your own in its place]

5] Q20 & Q14  Must always remain intact.

The Questions:

1] If you were facing the death penalty what would be your last meal choice??

Probably a Whole Leg of lamb. I love lamb but it can be chewy, plus it will take me ages to eat it by which time my pardon should have come through.

2] Have you ever whispered Candyman five times in front of a mirror?

No – As I’m not really into the Horror Genre (despite writing some horror stories myself) I don’t even know what this is referencing…..

We used to, as kids, tell a story that if you said ‘Bloody Mary’ Three times in the Mirror, she would appear and kill you. I’m guessing that that’s the same Idea.

No, There is already something scary enough in the mirror. Me.

3] Have you ever had your tarot read?

Yes I have and I have also done tarot readings myself. I find it a fun way to trigger your own subconscious thoughts.

4] What unsolved murder unsettled you the most?

All of them. It’s also the fact that even when they catch them, you can’t bring the innocent victims back to life. I think the worst thing was that the Moors murderers, Myra Hindley and Ian Brady refused to tell the Mother of one of their victims where her son was buried. She never had the chance to mourn. It breaks my heart.

5] Would you sleep inside a coffin underground for a night?

No. I hate closed in spaces and I hate the dark. I wouldn’t have any problem sleeping in a coffin above ground though, as long as the lid wasn’t on.

6] What is your best detective series?

I am a huge Agatha Christie Fan so I love Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot.

7] Is there a horror movie you simply could NEVER watch because of the advertising hype?

I can’t watch ANY of them, regardless of the Advertising. I am easily scared.

8] What is the worst nightmare you have ever experienced? – Describe.

I have nightmares ALOT. I had one when I was a kid when I found myself wandering the corridors of my old school and I found a door and a steep staircase that I hadn’t seen before. When I told people about it they told me to never go there again because ‘St Clements’ would get me. (typical dream, what kind of stupid name was that!?!) Then I walked up the stairs and this huge monster, part man and part Lion, pounced on me. I woke up sweating and screaming and wouldn’t go back to sleep unless my Mum held my hand. I was probably 9 years Old….

9] Are you afraid of clowns?

I think there is definitely something sinister about them. It isn’t a full-blown phobia for me, but I can’t say I like them.

10] Would you agree to take part in a seance?

NO – I wouldn’t do that or Planchette or an ouijja. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER.

11] Of all the ways a person could commit murder which do you think is the worst? Why?

Cold blooded murder I think is the worst. To plan it and carry it out is such a cold and inhuman thing to do. I could have some sympathy with someone ‘loosing it’ that’s why I’m grateful that we don’t have guns all over the place in the UK.

12] If you were a detective investigating a murder what would your first steps be at the scene of a brutal death?

After throwing up, because I’m not the best with blood and guts, I would interview anybody on the spot, get forensics in to check over the body.

13] Hanging, Injection, guillotine or firing squad what would you prefer?

I think Injection would be the best way.

14] Which 3 questions will you be deleting to add your own in?

Do I have to delete any? I quite liked them all….

18] and 19]

15] What time of the day is the best time to commit a murder?

As I could only do a hot-blooded murder, it would be whenever someone annoyed me enough….

For a planned murder, probably 3am would be the best.

16] Do you look guilty?

My face shows everything I am thinking, I could never hide anything.

17] Uh oh, you have witnessed a murder, and you think the killer may have seen you but you are not sure, what would you do?

Tell the police and ask for protection… This is not the time to hide from the authorities.

18] Would you be able to tell if a murder has taken place in a room just by walking into it?

I can be quite sensitive to places. I remember feeling really uncomfortable when walking around one of those old stately homes only to be told afterwards someone was killed there….

19] What is the best way to test for a psychopath?

Someone told me a story once. They said only a psychopath would get the answer right.

A man meets a woman at a family funeral. They get on really well but they do not exchange details or anything.

Two weeks later the woman kills her sister.

No I didn’t get it (you may be pleased to know).

I asked lots of questions. Was the sister married to the man? Did she get to him first? Did she always hate her sister?

Apparently the answer is that she killed her sister because she thought she would meet the man again at her funeral.

Did you get it? A friend of mine did…..

20] The three bloggers you are nominating are?
