Home from Home – Kreative Kue 208

It may look a bit derelict and the internal décor may be a uniform brown colour, but this motor home meant a lot to her. It meant freedom.

For years she had wanted a holiday, a vacation away from home, but they couldn’t afford it. With two dogs, that had made it even harder to get away, they couldn’t afford to put them in kennels.

Then, as luck would have it, her husband managed to pick up this second-hand motor home for practically nothing! It was a dream come true and they could take the dogs with them.

Unfortunately the engine blew up and now, stuck in the lay by, she waited with her dogs for company while her husband went to find some help. It was after all, his fault for not giving the engine a thorough checking over before they’d set off on this journey.

She only hoped they could find help soon on this lonely stretch of road. She’d only packed enough food for a couple of days. They may end up all eating the dog food.

Harmful Ignorance – A poem

Fantasy

He gazed upon a sight so great,

this Citadel made to fascinate,

if he lingers longer he’ll be late,

and that would never do.

He wore the robes so thick, so warm,

they were his apprentice’s uniform,

And kept out the cold and winter storm,

that he had struggled through.

His quest was nearly at an end,

to reach the city and find his friend,

to finish his training and then defend

his home from what he knew.

In his ignorance he’d released

A dark creature, an evil beast,

upon the living, it will feast.

It was all his fault, it’s true.

He must become a mighty Mage,

a Sorcerer skilled with wisdom sage,

and face this creatures dreadful rage.

to defeat and then undo,

the harm that only ignorance can do.

Twittering Tales – A Dirty Bed – A tale in 280 Characters.

The cleaner thought “What kind of person would act so slovenly to leave their bed this way?” She found a used needle and other unsavoury items but she left the room looking tidy.

It wasn’t her fault. How was she to know it was the exhibit the gallery had paid a cool Million for?
