Day 29 – A song you remember from your Childhood.
This song is a very old one, written in 1929, nearly 90 years ago. As such, I don’t remember the original recording from childhood, but in the 1980’s Sting, who had been in the band The Police, launched a solo career and recorded a great version of this song. I remember when it came out and I have loved this ever since.
Sting – Spread a Little Happiness.
Day 22 – A Song that moves you Forward.
Well this song has lots of energy and I can’t help moving to it.
Katrina and the Waves – I’m Walking on Sunshine.
Have a great day! 🙂
Today is the Winter Solstice, the Shortest Day (if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere) and from today the days get longer, so it is worth celebrating.
Happy Shortest Day!
Day 21 – A Song you Like with a person’s name in the title.
I love this song because it has such a happy and positive vibe.
Edison Lighthouse – Love Grows where my Rosemary Goes.
I don’t know anyone called Rosemary, but it is one of my favourite plants. 🙂
Hope you like this song. 🙂
Day 9 – A Song that makes you happy.
A while ago I posted that I have a happy playlist of songs that I listen to, when I’ve feeling a bit low. They help to shift my mood. See the post here:
This is my song for today though:
I’m into Something Good – Herman’s Hermits.
Hope you like it. 🙂
